- This kind of lead helps to maintain control over your dog by teaching them not to pull as the lead tightens and loosens with tension.

- The stopper means the lead will not slip off the dogs neck as it loosens, whilst allowing loosening to occur easily for the most comfort for your dog.

- Also known as a gundog slip lead as the lead works perfectly for working dog environments such as on farms as it can be worn loose without a collar.

- Many owners like the idea of this lead as it means their dog does not have to wear an uncomfortable collar, alternatively for very strong dogs it can be used in combination with another lead without the need for two collar connections which gives more security.

- Size guide: Our slimmer 8mm is usually more suitable for Spaniels, Terriers and even Sausage dogs, at request we can make these in the 12mm but this would make for quite a heavy lead and wouldn't be recommended in most circumstances.
