- These slip leads can be easily taken off for off-lead walks, also known as a gundog slip lead the lead works perfectly for working dog environments such as on farms as it can be worn loose without a collar.
Size guide: Our slimmer 8mm is usually more suitable for Spaniels, Terriers and even Sausage dogs, the 12mm leads are ideal for Labradors, Rottweilers, GSD's, though can be used on much smaller dogs too if you wish for a thicker collar loop.

Once the arrangement has been mastered the results are excellent. It prevents pulling rather than opposing it and as a result stops the dog getting into the habit of seeing how much they can pull before being restrained.

Love these slip leads. Perfect length for our cocker spaniel. Could do with the ring being slightly smaller so the leather stopper can't get through at all, but to us this is a minor point as doesn't get through very often due to the way we use the lead. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again and no doubt will as we're always losing leads! Thank you!
